Hope's Studio Hire Agreement

This Hire Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on today's date by and
between Hope's Studio ("Studio") and the person responsible for the booking. The
placement of an order for the hire of Hope Studios, or our additional services indicates your
acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. Studio Hire

  • Purpose: The Studio is hired for the purpose of its intended use such as content
    creation, photography, e-com, podcasts, videography and a breach of this would
    include the use of the space for any personal use that does not fall within the above
    examples.


2. Fees and Payment

  • Hire Fee: The total hire fee is stated on the invoice provided and payable within 24
    hours as we work on an upfront payment basis.
  • Damage Deposit: A damage deposit of £50 is required and is refundable after the
    studio is checked post-hire. The refund will be processed within 7-10 days,
    depending on your bank provider, and will be returned to the original method of
    booking. This is included in full booking fee.
  • Payment Terms: The booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full. The
    booking will only be held for 24 hours unless payment is made.
  • Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable. However, rescheduling is allowed if
    requested no later than 72 hours before the appointment/slot.

3. Consent Form

  • The Client agrees to obtain all necessary consents from individuals appearing in the
    content created during the hire period. A consent form template is attached as
    Appendix A.


4. Liabilities

  • The Studio is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to the Client's
    property during the hire period.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Studio harmless from any claims arising
    from the Client's use of the Studio.

5. Damage Clause

  • The Client is responsible for any damage to the Studio or its equipment, premisises
    and contents contained within caused during the hire period.
  • The Client agrees to cover the cost of repairs or replacement for any damage
    caused.The Client must treat the studio floor, walls, furniture, props, and amenities with
    respect. If props or furniture are rearranged, they must be returned to their original
    layout before vacating the premises.
  • Please ensure no fake tan, makeup, or any other marks/stains are left on the studio
    furniture, walls, curtains, photo cove, and floors. If they are stained or damaged, you
    will be charged/invoiced for repair, cleaning, or full replacement.
  • Furniture should not be dragged to avoid damaging the floor. If the flooring is
    damaged, you will be charged for the repair.
  • If you run over your designated booking slot by any time, you will not receive your
    refund for the damage deposit. If additional damage has been caused, you will be
    charged an additional amount for the damage.


6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellations made no later than 72 hours before the hire date will receive a full
    refund in the form of studio credits.
  • Rescheduling is allowed if requested no later than 72 hours before the
    appointment/slot.


7. Late Arrivals

  • Late arrivals may not be permitted to extend their booking time beyond the original
    time slot. No refunds or compensation will be made in these circumstances.


8. Loading and Unloading

  • If you require loading, unloading of equipment, packing, or unpacking of personal
    items, you should do so within your original booking time.


9. Overtime/Additional Time

  • If you require additional time to your slot, please let us know no later than 1 hour
    before the end of your booking. If we can accommodate, we will always try our best.
    Any additional time will be charged at £100 per hour.
  • Any bookings that run over their designated booking slot by 30 minutes or more will
    not be refunded their £50 damage deposit and will be charged an additional overtime
    charge.


10. Consideration for Others

  • Please be mindful of others using the building. Between the hours of 9am-5pm, other
    businesses occupy the building. Therefore, music and other noise levels should be
    kept to a reasonable level. When entering and exiting the building and in the
    communal areas, please be mindful and respectful of other users.
  • Ensure that the front door is properly shut before entering and exiting the building.
  • Make sure no unauthorised persons enter after you.


11. Governing Law

  • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
    England and Wales.


12. Agreement
By booking with Hope Studio’s both parties agree to the terms and conditions of this
Agreement. The placement of an order for the hire of Hope’s Studios or our additional
services indicates your acceptance and agreement to these terms and conditions.

Appendix A: Consent Form

created at Hope's Studio on [Date]. I understand that this content may be used for [describe
the intended use, e.g., promotional materials, social media, etc.].
